Answer

Hi,

Apologize for the delay.

To use Registry Editor to disable the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power setting for a, follow these steps:

a.    Press Windows Key + R, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.

b.    Locate and then click the following registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96f-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002bE10318}\DeviceNumber

c.    Click PnPCapabilities.

d.    On the Edit menu, click Modify.

e.    In the Value data box, type 24, and then click OK.
Note By default, a value of 0 indicates that power management of the network adapter is enabled. A value of 24 will prevent Windows 8 from turning off the device or let the device wake the computer from standby.

f.     On the File menu, click Exit.

Note: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

Hope it helps.
