Cannot import photos from iphone

Hi,

I have been trying to import my photos in iphone and always encounter error (via both Photo app and the file explorer).

And after much hours of trial and error, i realize that its due to the timelapse photo in the iphone.

If i try to copy those timelapse photo to windows, the iphone will get disconnected but normal photo are okay.

I have try the following method and it does not help:

1) backup and restore iphone.

2) reinstall itune/ apple driver.

Now i need to copy our all my 2018 photos and there are many timelapse photos.

How can i fix this issue? Anyone have solution for this?

Thanks.

Which version of Windows 10 is currently installed? See how to verify:

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wik...

Could you confirm if this also happens in the default Administrator account?

Open Start
Type: cmd
Right click CMD
Click Run as administrator

At the command prompt, type:
net user administrator /active:yes

Hit Enter

Close command prompt, restart, then try signing into the Administrator account.

Try importing again.

I am suspecting this is an issue with your installation.

Try performing a repair upgrade to resolve the problem.

Note, if i  use 3rd party SW , it will be able to download the timeplase video without any issue.

So its likely windows not supporting and not able to display the proper error.

Now i need a solution as the 3rd party software cause alot of $$.
