Skype login issues

Hi, 

Skype is essential for my line of work and have tried multiple times to login to my account via the app.  I'm 100% certain that my username and password is correct however,  I am still having login issues. 

I have tried all the troubleshooting steps suggested on your site and other non microsoft sites to make it work but to no avail. 

Please help me login to my Skype account

Also, how do you normally sign in to your Skype account? Are you using a Skype Name or an email address?

May I know the exact version number of Skype installed on your device?

Attached is a screenshot of the error I had.  

I just created the Skype Account using my email address *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

I just downloaded the app so the version is the latest, Version 8.60.0.79

Apparently, for some reasons I cannot see the screenshot here. Can you try attaching it again? If still doesn't work, please type the error here.

Also, what is the Android version of your phone? Are you connected to a VPN or connected through a proxy server?

Re-uploading the screenshots I have. Also,  a screenshot of my phone's Android Version. I am not connected to any VPNs as I am using my Home wifi Connection.

To isolate the issue, can you please try signing in here using a browser: https://secure.skype.com/portal/profile

Also, try this:

1. Open Android's Settings app
2. Go to Application Manager
3. Tap on it. Now “Force Stop” and then clear cache and data
4. Uninstall Skype
5. Restart your device
6. Reinstall Skype

By the way, if I may ask, how do you normally sign in to your Skype account? Are you using a Skype Name or an email address?

I am unable to access the link,  see screenshot added.  

Also,

I have tried clearing cache and forcing it to stop.  Then reinstalled the app, my phone and my router but the issue is still the same. I am still unable to login. 

I normally sign in using my email,  the one I provided to one of my earlier responses.

It appears to be related to the internet connection you're using. It is possible that there's something blocking the app to work properly. Or perhaps your phone has a software that prevents Skype to work?

How about using a your mobile data and a different device? Does it work?

I have allowed Skype all acceas from my phone so it's impossible it is my device.  All sites are already enabled in my home network so I'm not sure what other options are available. I don't have an alternate device and mobile data is not possible at the moment. 

Any more suggestions?
