Tombstone perk not working?

Has anyone had the tombstone perk not work? It happened to my friend and I yesterday on tranzit. When we cam back, we rushed to where we died, and guess what? No tombstone. Couldn't find it anywhere? For reference, we were playing on easy in a custom match on tranzit.

You die, a tombstone drops. Then you run over your tombstone and you get all of your perks and guns back.

Oh, nice. I think I bought it once, but didnt know what it did, LOL. I havent gotten into zombs too much yet, grinding MP rank.

Yeah. It worked for me in survival all the time and I've seen it work in tranzit, but for some reason in this game it just wasn't working.

Yeah, youtube "tower of babble". I tried doing it yesterday. It's pretty hard and requires either a lot of luck or a lot of stockpiled money in the bank. And obviously cooperation.

Not sure how your scenario went but you have to die, come back, and go the exact spot you died at to pick up the tombstone and you might have to hold x to die fast instead of bleeding out. Have done it that way on transit twice with success.

Did you use a turbine to power up the machine or turn power on?

If you use a turbine none of the perks bought work until the power is turned on.

When you've got the perk get put down, once on the ground press an hold X.

Best to do it with the last zombie of that round an get put down near a safe place to pick the tomb stone up.
