Freezing Issues: All progress deleted

Yup same exact thing happened to me. First it would freeze on launch when I had it installed then it froze on me this morning mid mission and when I loaded up again it said corrupted file, then I started a purist run since I did most the game anyway and loaded that save later and it was corrupted so for now I am just doing contracts. It sucks and they really need to fix it.

Did not freeze for me. Just said my save file was corrupted and thats it. Does anyone know when there gonna solve this problem because, i didnt overrite my save since i didnt want to lose all my progress.

Happened to me too, I don't want to start over if I'm gonna keep losing my progress. Everything was working fine until it crashed while it was saving progress, IO needs to fix this Sh*t.

This is bull. Happened to me as well. They really need to fix this issue.

This just happened to me. I was up to the level with Mr. Green (spoilers?). My unlocks are still there but my story progress is completely gone :(

Happened earlier to me, just finished the 'Shaving Lenny' mission when my console hard locked during a cutscene, had to reboot and got the corrupt data message. Not impressed!

hey red robbing, you get to keep all your unlocks? did you try starting a new game to over write the damaged save data? if so, did you keep all your progress on challages, unlocks an techniques? did you still have all the unlocked outfits? and did you still have everything unlocked for contracts? if all that gets messed up is story progress and you don't lose all challages and unlocks, then that won't be too bad i guess.

Are you guys playing off the disc, or have you installed the game to the HDD?

And FYI, if you do delete your save file (either on purpose, or accidentally) and start the story mode over, your unlocks (disguises, assassin techniques, weapons, etc...) all stay.

My save is corrupted as well.
