Beowulf: What are the two paths?

It's not that clear too me what the two paths are. Is the choice always do things heroically or with the carnal option?

At what point does one have to commit to doing things one way or the other?

Well in the good old days, e.g. before the new and "improved" forums, there was a forum just for this game (forumsarchive.xbox.com/.../ShowForum.aspx). Now I guess I can't count on Xbox.com for info on Xbox games... I'll have to wander the Internet in search of information. Thanks for trying though.
