Xbox One - how to change language without having to change region?

Hi everyone, Does someone know how to change language to English without having to ch age the region? I live inSpain but I am not Spanish and I would like to have the language set to English without being forced to buy in the UK or US stores. If I change language the Xbox automatically eliminates Spain as an available region and forces me to choose between UK, USA, NZ, Australia, etc.. How can it be? I Don't want to play games in Spanish even if I speak it and understand very well. I want to play them in original version. I cannot believe that MS intends to lock the language to the region. If an American moves to France does he have to learn French to play with the XBox? Or what about a foreigner that lives in a different country? If he doesn't speak the language is he forced to choose another store in order to have the language he wants? Does anyone know how to change language without changing region? Thanks Valerio

pretty sure the language options are set based on the region of the account but I am not 100% sure on that

It seems it can't be done. MS locked the language to the region. I'm extremelly disappointed at it too.

I'm brazilian and live in Brazil, but I want to play the games in English. If I set my region to Brazil, it's mandatory to set the language to portuguese. It's stupid.

I guess MS has better programmers to design the system to be set to any language regardless the region you pick.

Change this messed up policy, MS, please.

Same here. I live in Austria but I prefer to have everything in English. It is an annoying restriction and it was better solved on Xbox 360.

I hope Microsoft will solve this problem in the next system update. It's very annoying that I can't change my language without changing the country.

It seems the account location and the console region/language are two separate things.

For the account, you really need to be in your own country due to licensing restrictions, taxes, etc.

For the console settings, this is the sad part. Microsoft has locked the available countries based on language. So I'm in Brazil but I speak English and I can only select Portuguese. Microsoft forces me to lie that I'm in the US to just simply configure my console in English.

This is ridiculous. I wish someone at Microsoft would provide some feedback as to when users will be able to select whatever language they want, independent of the country they live in.
