Xbox 360 faceplate

I need to figure out how to fix the little window to my friends Xbox 360 faceplate because the little spring had broken, is there a way to fix it or a place where we can purchase a brand new one?

If you have another faceplace a spring should fix it.

But if the plastic is broke there is no place to have them repaired.

is there a store that sells new faceplates like best buy, or gamestop?

I'm not aware of any store that sells the factory faceplates. You can find sites where you can order a custom faceplate online.

That depends on which model console your friend has, the older models have removable faceplates, the slim doesn't.

Custom faceplates are widely available online or indeed your local game retailer may have them in stock.

Should you attempt to remove the faceplate from a slim console it may constitute system tampering.
