Rugby World Cup Bugs and glitches

So annoyed after an afternoon session playing the world cup on hard and winning all my group games it says im eliminated from the group for finishing 5th.

 

Now I was playing New Zealand on 20 minute halves I was winning in the 70 minute my prop gets injured and now my xbox is just staring at the crowd after I replaced him

 

why do games get released that are broken?

Had the same thing after my prop got injured.The game's frozen on me a couple of times now.

That is true for all modern day software, today's software development is so complex that any piece of software can not be guaranteed to be free of defects.
