OPEN WALLET, OPEN TRAY, PRE-OPENED AND SOLD XBOX????

HELLO PEOPLE!

 

I am writing this in utter ANGER for MICROSOFT presently! I today like many of you other 360 owners received the "OPEN TRAY" ERROR last night. This is not the first time this has come to my system. It previously came to my system and I brought it in for extended warranty repair from my store of purchase. That was only 2.5 months ago... AND STILL! I GET THE ERROR DOWN THE ROAD! Not only is this an ELITE, but it was a replacement for my special HALO 3 SPECIAL EDITION XBOX 360 that they demanded I handed in inorder to be sent back to XBOX. So I had to downgrade my system. Not only that, but after talking to Customer Service to find out what they could do for me, they notifiied me that my system was purchased in 2008 and my warranty was null and void. WHICH IS RIDICULOUS CAUSE I GOT MY XBOX REPLACED IN 2009! So not only does my system NOT READ DISC, and is NOT UNDER WARRANTY due to shady sales at FUTURE SHOP- Barrie, Ontario location. I just recently purchased a GOLD MEMBERSHIP CARD, ontop of the one I purchased in Febuary in order to receive 800 XBL points as an added BOUNS. GUESS WHAT? No disc can be read, there for no ONLINE XBL PLAY! Thanks Microsoft for not giving me my money back or sending me a NEW XBOX due to me being a loyal customer for OVER 5 years and counting... Would have been 7, but at this rate of failure on a system... No wonder all my friends have PS3! HELP ME TO RETAIN MY SYSTEM LIKES XBOX OR GET ME MY PREPAID CARD HARD CASH THAT IS GOING TO WASTE NOW DUE TO YOU SYSTEM FAILURE! Cause I want my gaming, but not at the costs that its taken on my wallet!

Why ppl complain about electronics , jeeezz get a grip , electronic fails period , You are pretty lucky that  Microsoft acknowledged there problem , Sony diden`t do it yet , and basically if you feel that you are a victim you are wrong we all are victims of cheap electronics manufactured in distant country's and that`s why they are cheap .

this is considered wear and tear lasers do wear out and along with motors

if you did not buy a service plan then you have to pay for out of warranty service

this is why there is extended warranties

no company will repair anything for free past its warranty

usually 1year for less then 500dollar devices

consoles that get replaced by xbox warranty service only extends your warranty for free for 90days or the remainder of your 1 year

buying it in 2008 means the console will only have warranty till 2009

so replacing it in 2009 for free will give you your remainder of your warranty or 90days after the repair whichever is longer no company will renew a warranty for free repairs however you can while in warranty purchase a extended warranty

 

seeing as it is 2011 thats 2 years past the warranty

 

ps3 has only 1 year warranty and will not renew your warranty on repairs will charge 150-250dollars

i feel this dudes pain so you people shut it... i just had my 4rth 360  die on me yesterday after the new update.  This is my last Xbox i ever own IM dont with this system. Sure its under warranty and i did send it in for repair. But when the refurbished one gets in. Im smashing it. I just don't care anymore

still playing my launch PS3.

Sucks. The first day my girlfriend bought her (new) Xbox 360, it had an open tray error as well, it wasn't reading anything. She returned it, got her money back, and won't be purchasing an Xbox 360 again. :)
