Merging accounts

Recently acquired a xBox 360 and Live account.  It required I set up an account. I would like to access this account on my new Surface but it is under a different Microsoft account and the Xbox MS account won't let me add the Surface MS account as an alias.  I need help merging these two accounts as they are really one and the same so I can use both devices together (smartglass).  Please help

like mentioned above, you can't merge accounts. You will have to decide which one you want to use on both devices.

Be aware that you can't move subscriptions, purchases, gamerscore, savegames  to another microsoft account etc.
