gamer tag booting

i have seen alot of ppl getting knocked off line in Grand Theft Auto IV ....it has happend to me and my friends on several occasions... we would be coming in first place then poof we are knocked off xbox and our modem resets....... this is the only game that does it and i know it is some type of boot cause one gamer kept sending messages wierd noise ones and poof im off line .... i have filed complaint and blocked communications from this person then someone else does it......now my question....is there anyway to prevent this from happening again cause it is annoying when your having fun and you get knocked out from loser? I have googled xbox 360 booters and apperantly there out there and i figure that this is a security issue in my book if you can do this ppl.....any suggestions smart ones at that b4 i give up playing online again? ty ty

As with other posts on these forums the connection issue you would be experiencing are not attacks on the xbox console.

You console happens to be effected but if you ware being attacked in the way you are suggesting then your entire internet connection for the home would be going down. If that is not happening then what you would want to do is check with the support staff for Rockstar games to see how their servers work and how well they are functioning. GTA4 isn't a Micorosft Game Studios publication so its connection to servers that are out of Microsofts control.
