Error code 0x80072ee7 Sign in using controller problems

Just got an xbox one today and have been getting this error when tryin to sign in my controller. Internet connection is good, run both wireless and multiplayer test and all is well there. I have reset my modem and deleted my account off the one and put back on with no avail. Logged onto my live account but it doesn't ask for verification. Any other answers or a solution? Very frustrating.

You get this error when trying to sign in to your live account? When you refer to not verifying your account do you mean asking for your password to your account?
 

To check or disable your account to be accessed without a password go to Settings>sign-in, security & passkey and select password at sign-in.
 

You can also try deleting your account from the console and adding it back.
 

Give it a go and let us know how it turns out.

No no no, I can sign into Xbox live just fine. And play games as a normal person would. But when I go tothe option sign in with controller that's the error I get, and also there are two led light flashing on the front of my controller that wont turn off. Like I said I have done all the above with no success. I have seen this has been a problem in the past for people but didn't see anyone get a solution. Any help would be appreciated.

I heard there is an update coming to xbox one this week but not only has my xbox one been acting up with this issue also my 360 I thought it was my internet connection but its running fine on my other non microsoft consoles....is this problem because of the update bc its really frustrating. ...it doesnt even let me sign in with my controler sometime

This is because your gamertag got corrupted this happen to me you have to factory restore your xbox one. I was signing in on my Xbox one and xbox 360 at the same time some reason this corrupted my gamertag ever since I restored my Xbox one I haven't had an issue.. I also deleted my gamertag off my 360 so I won't have the issue again hope this helps...
