Eject button won't work on my Xbox 360 Slim

Hi,
I've got some problems with the eject button on my Xbox 360 Slim, it stopped working completely the other day.
I can open the drive manually and also in the Xbox Dashboard, so it isn't stuck in something sticky or similar inside the xbox.

I bought the console for about two weeks ago, the machine has not been used many times during this period.
So, the question is if the machine is broken and must be mailed in to Microsoft, or can I fix it myself by updating the hardware?

Thanks in advance!

You should be within a 30 day return period at your retailer. Exchange it for a new console.

I would suggest gently moving the disc drive side to side and in and out to see if it is getting caught on something. If not and you are continuing to see the problem I would say you should either take it back to the retail store or setup a repair through Xbox support or on the site. See the link below for info on the online repair.

Hey there Strife! If you are having disc drive issues, please take a look at our guide (forums.xbox.com/.../624.aspx) and troubleshooter (support.xbox.com/.../disc-drive-solution) to see if that helps. If you are still having these issues, you can set up a repair order online (support.xbox.com/.../repair-process). Let me know how this goes, thanks!
