Hi Sully1210,

·         What do you mean by Norton 360 does not recognize external USB drives?
·         Are you referring to the device not recognized in Norton backup?

Check if the device is getting recognized in Device Manager and disk management.

1.      Click Start and type Device Manager in Start Search.
2.      Expand other devices
3.      Now check if the device is recognized or not.

Check if any yellow exclamations are there, if you find any then you may need to update the drivers for the device.

a.       Click Start and click Computer.
b.      Now check if the external USB device is recognized.

Now check if the device is recognized in disk management.

1.      Click Start and type diskmgmt.msc in Start Search.
2.      Now check if the device is recognized.

If the device is getting recognized in disk management or in the Computer, then this might not be problem with USB drive. You may have to check with the setting for Norton 360.
