Outlook ToDay in outlook 2013 is blank

I am so frustrated;

the previous link was unanswered after 2 months

Since about 2 months ago Outlook Today went blank and there seems to be no solution:

This is what I have done :

1. Ran OffCAT and found no errors,

2. Repaired PST files and found no errors,

3. Right clicked data file > restored defaults,

4. Compressed the data file,

5. Created a temp profile on control panel > mail

6. Renamed OUTLWVW.DLL to OUTLWVW-old.DLL and repaired the installation,

None of these solutions worked ! :(

6. Finally I created a new user on win 7 and then logged on as new user and setup outlook

Outlook today worked

Q1. What file is corrupted ?

Q2. What other solutions are there ?

SOLVED IT EK63!! (At least for me.)

I spent HOURS on this and will spare you all of the gory details (in the end, I compared the Outlook and IE registry values between the Windows user where Outlook Today was not working and the new Windows user where Outlook Today was working).

The solution was simply to delete the following registry key (backup first if desired) from the Windows user where Outlook Today was not working (make sure IE, Outlook, etc are closed):

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

Open Outlook, and voila!

UPDATE:

With a bit more experimenting, I found that simply deleting the OUTLOOK.EXE name value (or changing its value data) in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION restored Outlook Today also.

FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION "defines the default emulation mode for Internet Explorer". The value data of OUTLOOK.EXE was 2af8, which corresponds to IE 11. Changing it to 22b8 (which corresponds to IE 8) resolved the blank Outlook Today page as well.
