Turning off Intelligent Services via GPO

Due to the nature and sensitivity of our work, we can not have document content traversing the internet to see if it was grammatically correct or too have a prettier slide presentation. I have been going over the GPO templates and can not find any reference to enabling or disabling the service. The current date of the ADMX files is June 14 2017. I understand the purpose and validity to have a service like this, but we can't have it. I think that I just may be missing something here. Plus, you all know that you can't trust the user to turn the feature off. :)

Hi MuRpPaT,

Based on your description, you would like to disable Office intelligent services using Group Policy Object (GPO) for the users.

Please open the Microsoft Office 2016 template, find User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Microsoft Office 2016 > Tools | Options | General | Service Options… > Online Content > Online Content Options , and then disable the services for the users.

Reference: Online Content Options

Meanwhile, as this is GPO related query, we suggest you post a new thread in TechNet Forum to get expert support.

Thanks,

Tina
