Hi RockyMondal,

For a pure Office 365 online tenant, admin can hide users from GAL: Login Exchange Admin center->recipients->select a certain user account and click edit icon->Tick “Hide from address lists” checkbox.

According to your post, it seems like you want to hide default GAL from some users so that they will not see GAL when they access Outlook Web App and Outlook desktop client?

If so, and if the environment in your organization is Office 365 pure online, as far as I know, it isn’t feasible, but you can control who sees what in Office 365: you can try to create a new global address list, create a correspondent offline address list, create a new Address Book Policy and assign this new GAL and OAB as well as other address lists to this policy, and then assign this policy to these users.

If you have different scenario, may I know your organization current environment? And please also provide more detailed description of your requirement.

Thanks,

Anna
