Auto-capitalization in Outlook

Most of the time, Outlook automatically capitalizes the first letter in a sentence, which I like.  However, there are times that it does NOT do so, usually after ending the previous sentence in the word "it".

I'm no English major, but I'm assuming that's a preposition and it is programmed not to capitalize after ending a sentence in a preposition.  I don't know if this is the reason or not, but regardless, what can I do about this?  Is there a way to correct this to where it always capitalizes?

Thanks.

Answer

If  Capitalize first letter of sentences  is set in Tools, Options, Spelling, Autocorrect button - when you end a sentence with a period, exclamation point or question mark , the first letter will capitalize.
