Windows 10 preview and EMET 5.1

Is EMET 5.1 (Microsoft Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit) actually needed with Windows 10 (Build 10041)?

Having loaded Win 10 Build 10041, I have found the only way to run Firefox and Internet Explorer is to disable these two applications in  the EMET App list.  Which rather spoils the reason to use EMET.  Thanks

Hi Colin,

Sorry for the delay in replying.

You might be aware that Windows 10 Technical Preview is still in developmental stage, you may expect some compatibility issues as of now and some features or settings might not work as expected.

I would like to let you know that very recently there is a new build 10049 released. I recommend you to install this latest build through the Windows Updates and restart the computer to check if the issue persists.

Keep us informed to help you further.
