Can't sign in post Windows Build 18323

I have been a Windows 10 Insider since inception without any real issues.  Post updating to Build 18323 I can't sign into my SurfaceBook 15.  When it recognizes me via Windows Hello it says "Before you can start using Windows Hello, you have to set up a PIN" (I have had a pin for years).  When I try to sign in via my username on my primary Microsoft account that I have used on the PC it says the password is wrong.

I have tried booting into safe mode (without success) and have tried rolling back to prior version without success.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Andrew

Yes, I have another PC that I have no problem logging into and I can also log in via the browser.  It is interesting that you ask that because I will admit that recently my One Drive and SharePoint system has been making me log in continuously, however, the simple answer is yes.

I have the exact same issue,

It will not accept the password of my Azure AD credentials, any new credentials created in Office 365

also i have gone to the command prompt using the repair my computer feature, enabled the Administrator account; however the system will not recognise the Administrator.

i have tried to copy my files using the command prompt however i am unable to access these files due to the permission access.

What workarounds can be uses to reinitialize the user service.

To get Admin rights you need to boot from installation media.

Hi have the excatly same issue, tried reset , sign in with local account, new AAD account, through web login. None works, looks like next option is to do a full reinstall.

Its not an answer but there suppose to be another Insider release today so once that happens it may sort these problems.

I have read about problems with Azure, WU, FBH, and Windows store with 18323

When multi things go wrong with an install I always install over the top keeping my docs etc, and most of the time its error free 2nd time round.

I figured out a solution as to what has exactly happened with this CAA5004B error (not being able to login)- The upgrade has been unjoining the machine from Azure AD!  Its a detailed but working solution  Check out the full post here https://www.onthewinside.com/blog/i-figured-out-error-code-caa5004b I have validated on 2 machines that solution works - If anyone else could use this method to confirm I would happy - Let me know thanks!
