YOAH

Not really sure what forum to ask this question so im going to stick it here.

During a recent storm a lightning strike decided to pown my power supply and also shock me at the same time.  I have the slim model and was wondering the best option to get another power brick.  My warrenty does not run out untill sepetember but they say nothing about power brick only issues mainly console.

So wheres the best place to purchase one if I should at all.

I'm sure you can call xbox support and get a replacement power supply.

Call Xbox support 1-800-4MY-XBOX to find out if they could send you a replacement.

acts of god do not qualify for warranty replacements. It says so in whatever form in blah blah blah

They won't replace the power brick because it was destroyed by an act of a make believe person who lives in clouds.

Always use a surge protector for all expensive electronic equipment as it prevents electrical surges such as lightening storms from effecting the stuff connected to it.

As for replacing the power brick Microsoft replaces them for like 35$
