Updating original Xbox titles

I recently changed xbox and didn't keep the update files from Halo 2 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. Is there a way to update them? Because I can't connect to live and I know that as of 15/4/2010 Xbox Live has been discontinued for the original Xbox.

I'm sorry, I'm not following what you are asking. You are correct, LIVE support for Original Xbox games has been discontinued.

Yeah just wondering I have Transworld Surf (xbox) and when i try it on xbox 360 it tells me I need an update that is possibly available on xbox.ca But i cant find anything help plz

Updates can't be downloaded off a computer. So if there is an update available, the only way to access it is from the console.

I don't know too much about the original xbox titles, so I can't comment on that part.

Transworld surf That would be for the backwards compatibility update

If you do not have an Xbox hd you cannot get the update

If the game isn't supported then there is nothing you can do but purchase an original console

That is the current and final list

Since the game is not listed then your only option is to buy an original xbox

@op no you cannot update the original files there is no need to anyways since they were more for live
