tuning calculator from Slave Munkey

Tried to download Slave Munkey's calculator but I noticed that the indicator for CLASS on the spreadsheet never upgrades.... Is that a clinch?? Would someone send the link so i can refer to it?? Since it is my first time using it, how should I go about using it. Thanks for your input

I'm guessing you haven't looked at ANY of the posts in the FM.net thread.  There are several tutorials that explain exactly how to use the calculator.

Here's a freebie:  Enter the PI and the class will automatically update (if you the VBA analysis toolpack installed).

The rest are your own to figure out: http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/4859908.aspx

i think that something with my computer is not working.... I really do not know if it is a factor but the class is not adjusting to the PI ..... I had to download the toolpack but I think that it is not coherent to what the calculator is capable of.. I will follow the thread and see if there are any suggestions to correct my glitch for class correction... what do you think??

I don't know.  Is the Class the only ting that doesn't update when you enter values?  Do you have automatic calculation enabled?

.

It works perfectly using my Excel 2007.

seems to auto calculate but the difference that I am noticing is that with the previous (FMTC 4.4) is I had to input the data for downforce race upgrade parts (front and rear)... This edition it is already present, it is what insominac called the crucial area that could ruin everything...bottom right grid ..... does the calculator estimate those values now..?

Downforce has no affect on the suspension settings in the calculator.

My advice is get in the car, start with the sway bars, then springs. get the car feeling comfortable to you before doing anything else. I can't stand a tuning calculator. It's not manly.

Then later you'll wonder why all your cars feel the same. There's another thread on this somewhere discussing the calculators.

Manly does = fun though, right?

To quote a famous racer: "I've been playing tag lately, maybe I'm biased. I do understand the mentality of having to drive a long time. Then again, I can be drunk and up late and still win @ tag. lol. It's all about fun guys. I think turn 10 did a good job of letting us all have fun. Anyone can make an endurance if they want. Join a club, lots of guys like it."

.

A tuning calculator makes it easier to have fun.
