[LOCKED] Same *** Romances confirmed by Casey Hudson, executive Producer of Mass Effect

My thought is that's a pretty retarded reason to hate Mass Effect.

My tl;dr thoughts are on this thread, read if you like I really don't care.

Do we really need it to be like Dragon Age? The romances all vary in quality anyway, so I guess people will complain about how crappy the same*** were compared to the heteros or vice-versa come release time.

Storywise it doesn't make sense for Shep to just go "***" all of a sudden, but I guess since the galaxy is about to end, a little loving from anyone will do.

I for one, will romance Wrex with my ugly Shep.

To each his own. I just can't see how the male-male, male-alien romances in ME3, won't be anything but hilarious.

People like to take things too literal and completely serious.

Like I had said in one of the other threads about this exact same topic which was pounded into the ground, Casey Hudson clarified, here, after his initial tweet which is the link in the OP of this thread, that just because there's same-*** romance in ME 3 that doesn't mean Garrus, Kaiden, Ashley, or anyone else will just automatically make a move on their own gender because of that fact.

And I quote: "Some game sites saying "previously straight chars now available for both m&f chars" not necessarily true. Will have some new LI's in #ME3".

As well as that he also stated in another response to someone's concerns that this would compromise who the characters were: "I'm confident that our writing team will handle LI's in #ME3 with sophistication and preserve character continuity."

So with all that said, it would be beyond me to determine whether you're serious or not in if you actually do hate Mass Effect now just because there's going to be optional same-*** romance, as again I think it's one of the worst  and blatantly odd reasons to suddenly hate on something when little to no information has even been revealed.

Therefore because there's little to no information on just how it's going to work and who it's even going to affect, I have to ask, any reasoning behind viewing this news as a negative? I personally will not opt to have a romance with Kaiden and my Male Shep for example, as again we have no clue who will even be considered these same-*** romance options, but I do see it as more choice for those that do want to tread those waters.  Mass Effect is all about choice anyways, am I right?  I believe so.

Of all the squad mates that were able to become a love interest for Shepard.  Jack is the only one I can see going either way.  She even mentioned while talking to Shepard about having neither a boyfriend of girlfriend.

I do not consider Liara or any other asari a s/s relationship.  

I don't believe that much that Bioware is going to have some kind of supurbly improved conversation system. Most likely 90% of the characters will bring up that they want *** with you unless you are a total *** or ignore them just like in every other ME and DA game.

 Jack admitted to playing both sides of the fence. But she seems to have settled for one one team. Kaiden was originally supposed to be Bi but they changed it before the release of ME1.
