Hi all,
just thought i would share my dissapointment with you all and see if anyone has experienced the same thing.
I have had my xbox for over 4 years not and me and my son both have an account with gold membership on my console. we purchase a lot of dlc like new maps for cod and arcade games and both enjoy playing them.
i recently decided to line the pocket of microsoft by buying a new 360 slim console and also a 250gb hard drive and data transfer lead. I transfered all our data over and everything went ok, that was until my son came to play the new maps on cod. Because they had been originally downloaded on my account he now no longer has access to them and will also have to shell out 1200 points to get them unless he plays on my account.
I read up on the terms and conditions of dlc and it does state that dlc will will exclusive to the account it was downloaded to first and the console it was originally downloaded too but sureley this should carry over to a new console if you buy a new one and the lead to move everything over.
Just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences as today i feel a little annoyed that i have spent a good whack of money and will now have to shell out again for points for my son to play dlc on his account
thanks for reading and sorry for going on i put it in words best i could!!
