Gamer profile permissions

Is the xbox live account classed as a child account? EA games tend to be for over 18's only so a child account will be unable to play.  If it's an adult account, you could try this.

1# Go to: profile.ea.com/myprofile.do

2# Login with your EA account

3# In the top right corner, klick on [welcome, "Your account"]

4# And then click on [My Account]

5# in the section [Select a default persona] click [Add Persona]

6# Choose [existing Xbox LIVE Gamertag] and type your gamertag in the [account name] bar

7# Click [Add Persona]

Just to add to the above post.
So you cant play it at all OP, are you trying to play MP because you need gold to do that.

If the above suggestion does not solve it (it most likely will though) try this.

Sign in on your account.
On the ;My Xbox' page of the dashboard press 'A' while highlighting your Avatar.
Scroll right x2 to 'Online safety' & select 'Change settings'.
Then choose 'Customise'.
Scroll down to 'Member content' and then select 'Everyone'.
Press 'B' x1.
Save & Exit.

This works! Had to do it for Battlefield 3!
