I have already started a game on my 360. will the data be usable for my xbox one or do i need to start a new game?

Dragon Age Inquisition. Import data from Xbox 360?

After doing some digging on the net, apparently you can. But you need to use the dragon age keep website. the extras menu in game has the address.

Just noticed this so apologies for the late response! Stuart is spot on. You can also access the keep via the web at https://dragonagekeep.com (login with you ea/bioware account not xbox one!)
You don't need to own the game (DA:I) to use it. It lets you set all your story choices from the first two games and import them into inquisition.
You can lose hours on it. i know i did!
