ONLINE ACHIEVEMENTS?!

Personally I think achievments should be single player only where as you dont need to rely on anybody else to get an achievment , like Fifa for example win 5 games in a row done it so many times only for people to quit and *** it up for you

 or a certain  game could die online meaning some cheevos are pretty much impossible to get

Online achievements ruin games. Fact.

The Smackdown Vs Raw franchise, before it self terminated, had a poor reputation for nasty little boosters ruining the online of the game trying to get the achievements set out...so by the end, they just removed them....as well as everything else that made the game fun

It's a bit annoying when they become near impossible or completely unobtainable.

For example, the real world winner achievement on Fifa 09 is now impossible as the servers shut down for that match type and when it was available it was glitched.

Far Cry 2 multiplayer achievements are near impossible to obtain due to the game being dead online and the fact that they take a ridiculous amount of time.  The only way is spending hundreds of hours boosting.

I'm not that bothered with achievements, but if i like a game i usually  try to get full gamerscore.

It depends really, I don't mind if it's like kill 10 people with a sniper rifle, but I don't like achievements where you have to grind for them.

Also I don't like online ahcievements on EA games because EA takes the servers off after a year or so, which makes it impossible to get them afterwards.

Well it makes sense really; what the point off keeping servers online from a '06 series of games? I'm sure people arn't getting the game for easy gamerscore.......oh wait they are!

I don't mind online achievements so long as they are "easily obtainable" and by that i mean they dont do a Ghost recon. "be 1st in the global leaderboards"

what a stupid achievement lol.

if the servers aren't shutdown thats cool but when they are you can't complete it becuase tgere is no more online play

That's because I'm trying to give Westy a challenge for the July's Gamerscore challenge.

LOL don't worry i was only messing; I myself have the same problem with NBA '06 but i only played it as i was sent it by a mate and it would off been rude not to play it!
