Console Freeze

Hi!

I got a annoying problem:

When I'm playing a game and I want to go back to xbox dashboard, my console block and it seems the disk is blocked in the disk tray... When I open the disk tray the console unblocked and go to the xboxdashboard without a problem! And I sometimes have the problem when I make an update or when I navigate on the xbox market...

Does this happen with all games? Or just some games? What happens if you remove the hard drive? Does the console behave the same, or does it improve?
