Windows 7 Snipping Tool Error

I've a valid copy of Windows 7 Home Premium and I've been using the Snipping Tool for 2 years and now it doesn't work anymore. When I click it it shows a blank dialogue box. I've searched a bit and all the solutions included taking a look at Programs and Features because the Tablet PC Components might be disabled, however mine was activated, so I have no idea of what's going on.
Any suggestions are welcome.
