How can I increase volume for youtube videos?

How can I increase volume for youtube videos - control panel shows me that my volueme is 100% yet can hardly hear youtube videos.

Hover your mouse pointer over the video then point the mouse pointer over the volume icon on the floating toolbar that appears, drag the volume knob to the right to increase the volume.

Another thing to try if you still can't hear sound, click the volume icon in the Notification Area of the Windows Taskbar, click Mixer and look if the volume mixer for Youtube is turned up.

Sunday night I was downloading videos of songs by Nelson Eddy, mostly from <tauberfanlehar2>.  I had listened to 16 with a normal level of sound.  I attempted to download one with a title like " List of Nelson Eddy Songs" and got nothing.  I then tried one called "Nelson Eddy Jr." and again got nothing.  From then on all of the songs I listened to had no audio.  
I then went to help and downloaded several recommended programs including Chrome.  From that point on I have heard the songs at a very low volume and seeming to sound too high pitched.  
I went to the Jacquie Lawson website - the music on their cards sounds normal, so it doesn't seem to be my computer problem - only receiving You Tube.
