what happen when windows build expired

Dear Team I had googled the question  "what happen when the microsoft windows 10 pro bulid has expired than i got the below reply please chek and confirm whethere the statement is correct or not.

The computer will no longer boot, 2 weeks after the license has expired. After the expiration date is crossed, when you start your computer, you will see a Recovery message – Your PC/Device needs to be repaired message. You will not be able to log in to your computer. In this case, you will have to download the ISO file from another computer and then transfer the ISO file to some installation media. Once you have done this, you will have to boot the computer from the installation media to install the latest build of Windows 10

The statement is valid for Windows 10 Insider build expires. Production releases that go to public i.e. non-insiders never expire.
Insider builds usually have a watermark on desktop stating the expiry date.

Other than what Sumit says, the other kind of license that expires is a volume license that you should never see on a retail-purchased PC, unless the Windows installation is pirated.

Hi dear thanks for reply one more question "what happen when the volume license expired.. because our company had purchase 70 no. of laptops but after 5 months a pop windows appear frequently shows windows expires soon please activate and after 6 month windows expired and dealer not response. So sir I want to know that if the windows will not activated than the build become invalid and laptop wont boot hangs on recovery option... I think you can understand what I mean to say....

Once the license expires, Windows will reboot automatically about every three hours and anything you're working on when it reboots will be lost. After two weeks longer, Windows will stop booting at all. AT that point, you'll need to purchase another license and reinstall Windows.
