Windows 10 Install- Now Seagate External USB 3TB HardDrive Looses Connection

I have a Seagate Backup Plus Drive (External USB 3TB HD) that was working perfectly with my Windows 7 system.  Since the install of Windows 10, the drive periodically looses connectivity with the system (does not show up on "This Computer" as a drive).  I have to pull the power plug from the drive and reinsert the power plug to re-establish the connection.  I already went to the device manager, USB Controllers, and turned off power management for all three USB root hubs, and two generic USB root hubs.  Problem continues even with this software adjustment.  Contacted Seagate technical support and they advised that this is a Microsoft Windows 10 problem, not a Seagate problem.  I need to resolve this problem and ask for your help.

Thanks, Larry

Simple to do dudes...after facing same problem and trying every trick to get it update itself failed. How I was able to solve the issue turned out to be very simple. Please download Seagate Media software from Seagate and sync it with your windows 10 and edit your files/folders and presto there you go. The only thing I observed was that it created new update folders leaving the prev backup folders alone.

After you sync it, it will auto update your files and folders on ur external hard disk.
