I have a user that is having trouble opening explorer.exe from the pinned icon on the Taskbar in Windows 10, when network drives are mapped. When the user tries to open exploer.exe from the Taskbar explorer.exe crashes immediately. And, if the user simply double clicks on the "This PC" icon on the desktop, then they can use explorer for a few moments (less than a minute).
If I remove the drive mappings then explorer.exe works normally from both the Taskbar icon and the desktop icon.
The following is the error I'm getting when explorer.exe crashes while network drives are mapped.
