Hello Parimal,

Thank you for providing us with the information.

As per the description, I understand that your SD card is not accessible on your computer, although it is shows up in the Device Manager but not in File Explorer.

In order to understand the issue more clearly, please provide us with the following information.

  1. What exactly happens when you insert the SD card? Do you get any error message?

  2. Have you checked if the SD card works fine on other computers?

There can be a possibility that this issue might have occurred due to corrupted SD card drivers in the system.

First, I would suggest you to run the following Microsoft fixit to get the problem automatically detected and fixed.

If the problem persists, we can try uninstalling SD card from Device Manager and try reinstalling it. Please follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall the SD card driver.

  1. Press Windows key + X when you are at desktop.

  2. Select Device Manager.

  3. Expand SD card.

  4. Right-click the SD card driver and click Uninstall.

  5. Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.

  6. After the un-installation is complete, reboot your computer as soon as possible.

Computer will load the generic SD card drivers. Now, please go to the manufacturer’s website, download and install the compatible SD card drivers for your computer and check.
