uninstall Idle Buddy

trying to uninstall Idle Buddy

Do following to remove Idle Buddy -

1. Uninstall it
Type appwiz.cpl in Windows Start Search box (Cortana) > Click appwiz.cpl > Look if Idle Buddy is here > If yes, uninstall
Also look for suspicious programs which you may have installed to bring it on. Uninstall them also

2. Remove it from all browsers
This sits as plugin / extension / add-ons. So, you will need to go to all browsers and deactivate them.

3. Run Antimalware
Malware Bytes - https://www.malwarebytes.com/

Do let me know if you have any more question or require further help. If above didn't work, I will supply more troubleshooting steps to solve this problem.

Idle buddy says i have to click on a link to uninstall. Also none of my antivirus software detects it as a threat

Idle Buddy is still on my computer.  It is lodged on lower bottom of my screen prohibiting me from quarantining it on MalWare.  I shut down computer and started up again and the Idle Buddy pop up was still there!!!  It does NOT show up in my apps list to allow me to uninstall either!!!

Okay since nobody has replied with a solution i have found one that worked for me. Idle buddy hides in your programs as a different name. Open control panel and open uninstall programs. See if you can find idle buddy unless it disguised its name; for me it was “work group inc” try to uninstall it and if that doesnt work then download IObit unintaller and try to uninstall it from there or just watch thishttps://youtu.be/-MrYjpEu260

btw dont click on the link that idle buddy provides you to uninstall. Idle buddy is a cpu miner and over time it can damage your cpu for stressing it to the max
