Original Title: Outlook and ATT Uverse

I recently got ATT Uverse. Since that time, I have not been able to send email. I have Outlook 2007. I went to Uverse website and did all of the steps. I called Uverse tech support. They said it is an Outlook issue and not a Uverse issue. What can I do to be able to send emails?

Answer
Answer

Connect to whose Exchange Server? AT&T uses POP servers, not Exchange Servers, if you're trying to get to an AT&T mailbox, you have the wrong service loaded in Outlook and need to replace the Exchange Server service with the POP/SMTP service  If you're trying to get to a company Exchange Server where you work, you should talk to the Exchange Administrator there so see what method to employ. The Exchange Server must be setup for Outlook Anywhere (RPC over HTTP), or you need a VPN tunnel to get to it; either way, the Exchange Server administrator where you work will have this information.
