Microsoft Teams certification for Surface Headphones

Just wondering if/when the Surface Headphones will get "certified" (a.k.a. listed here) for Microsoft Teams.

Our workplace has a requirement around the headphones we purchase being certified in order to allow us to claim them as a business expense through Australian Fringe Benefits Tax laws.

I'd love to purchase them, but without the assistance from my workplace, they're out of my price range.

Hi Trent,

Thank you for posting. I have searched for the relevant query but haven’t found any official information at this time.

However, our upcoming Microsoft Teams updates and releases can be seen within the Office 365 public roadmap, you may keep on eye.

You may also visit the link Microsoft Teams UserVoice to post your comments. The team is actively monitoring this forum. We hope in the near future, this device can be included in the Teams certified device list.

Your time and understanding will be highly appreciated.

Best regards,
Shyamal

I'm using the Surface Headphones with Microsoft Teams.

While they're not certified, they do work perfectly.

I have a connection with the Teams product group, so will ask.

Whilst listening to a streaming service, they won't answer a Teams call. Same for when I'm not listening to anything.

Of course, this means that I cannot decline a call either.

Is there something I'm missing in regards to settings? As you said yours work perfectly, I'm working on the assumption that you can answer and decline by tapping the ear shells.
