My Update Failed and reverted to 9926, now I cant update.

So My first update crashed and my system reverted to 9926. Now When I click Check for Updates it will see the new build and instantly go to 100% then disappear without any windows popping up. The screen says "Updates Installed" though. It seems to think I already have the latest build but i am still on 9926. I have tried restarting but to no avail.

Option 1: Credit - Carey Frisch, MVP:

1. Open a Command Prompt (Run as Administrator)
2. Type: cd %windir% and press the Enter key.
3. Type: net stop wuaserv and press the Enter key
4. Type: ren softwaredistribution softwaredistribution.old and press the Enter key.
5. [ Note: if you get an error message, ignore and type the above again and press Enter ]
6. Type: net start wuauserv and press the Enter key.
7. Type: Exit and press Enter, then go back and check for Windows Updates again.

Option 2: Download the .ISO:

Hi Andre, my computer was crashed again when update, i did again these steps, but now it not working anymore. It said the file already exit when i finished step 4. What can i do now?

now you can Download official ISO, use it for an update or a fresh install (suggested)
