Network mapped drives not available on WIndows 10 TP

I'm not 100% sure that modifying the registry above will work for everyone.

My conditions were: Windows 10 (officially released version, on 29th June), logged on as Administrator.

I've found answer to this.

You need to modify the registry.

1. Open regedit

2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Policies -> System

3. On the right, you will see ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin, ConsentPromptBehaviorUser ... etc.

4. click on empty space, ADD DWORD(32bit), then name it "EnableLinkedConnections". Double click it and set the data to 1.

5. Reboot and you will see the mapped drives showing.

This has worked for me.

This worked for me as well on my Lenovo Flex 10 running Windows 10 Home. Many thanks for posting this solution.

Navigate to your folder you would like to use as a mapped drive in file explorer, select the folder, click on "Home" tab on upper right of file explorer window. Locate the "Easy Access" button in the "NEW" section of the ribbon. It will offer to let you "Map as Drive". Same thing it used to be to Map Network Drive, it even allows you to use different credentials to log into it if needed.

After start - go to "this PC" app or what it is. There you can see the map network drive in the menue. good luck, wk

Select the Network drive you want to map in File Explorer. In the ribbon, in the section  "New", click the drop-down triangle by "Easy Access". Click "Map as Drive".

I've been following this thread since I installed Windows 10 in early August. As easy as it is, I can't imagine why Microsoft hasn't replied to this. I finally tripped across it this morning!

EnableLinkedConnections  was already set to 1 

My mapped WebDav network is still not visible in Explorer!
It is successfully mapped via command prompt as drive Z: , but not visible in Explorer :(

Disconnect the Z: drive with->   net use Z: /delete
z: was deleted successfully.

Then connect it again as:  net use Z: \\1XX.XXX.XX.203\DavWWWRoot\WEBDAV /user:PCnamel\username password  /persistent:yes

The command completed successfully.

I can browse via command prompt, but it is not visible true Windows Explorer
