CoD WaW Online Issues

Sorry to hear you're having a bad experience, I remember when WaW used to be great, and glitch/hack free.

Anyways, MS is actively hunting down these hackers, and you'll find that a lot of them are being dealt with. However, the problem lies with the developer of the game, as it is their duty to make sure that the game is glitch/hack free, and unfortunately Infinity Ward/Treyarch have pretty much given up on trying to fix those older games. If you see a hack or glitcher, then make sure to report them, and one of the XBLPET team will deal with them eventually.

Trust me though, I wouldn't go to PS3. The hacks on COD on the PS are about 100 time worse then what it is like on Xbox. Like I said, its because of the developers, not due to MS. As I said, report them, avoid player, and just hope that you don't run into them again, or consider a different game (harsh, but its the reason I no longer play COD online).

whenever you are feeling really annoyed by these modders go to the suspension forums,it will make you feel much better.as denaz666 says ps3 is full of hackers too you will not get away from them there,plus they are a lot more abusive as they are not being monitored as well as microsoft do.

Access to that game, COD4 and MW2's multiplayer should've been removed a long time ago. If the developers aren't going to bother trying to fix it then why let people play it and then blame Microsoft & Sony for it being hacked?

MS is doing their part in trying to eliminate the modders/cheaters, but their efforts are all done in vain if the GAME DEVELOPER doesn't actually patch the game to disallow the use of those mods/cheats.

Proof of that can be found everyday in the above mentioned forum. In FACT, this month alone, from July 1st-15th MS has PERMANENTLY BANNED 255 XBL accounts for:

-Modded Avatar/Gamer Tag-25
-Exploiting Infections/Cheating-60
-Selling Accounts/Stealing Accounts/Commercial Use of Account-21
-Excessive Forced Name Change-5
-Impersonating MS Staff-2
-Advertising Modded Lobbies/Hosting Modded Lobbies/Offering Services for a fee-142

To me, that looks like the XBL PET are doing something and that the system DOES work when you FILE A COMPLAINT. Now imagine how many more will be
permanently banned from XBL in the next 15 days...

And those are just the people who post here about it. There are most likely a lot more than the 255.

So let's recap:

I sincerely doubt that someone will report you over a 13-year-old using infections.

Being abusive isn't a permanent ban (Not right away, at least) you'll probably be met with a couple warnings before any real action is taken.

MS doesn't give warnings before any action is taken. Our warning is the XBL Terms of Service and Code of Conduct. If anyone violates those the XBL PET will simply just take action without warning.

Maybe for exploiting infections, they'll ban without warning. But for little stuff they give a slap on the wrists first.

Thing is when you get banned you get an e-mail sent to your WLID associated with the account. I guarantee you at least 90% of the people who say they never got an e-mail are trying to pull a fast one.
