Black Ops II freezing

I was playing Black Ops II multiplayer, Search & Destroy. I joined a game in Matchmaking and I was looking at the scoreboard to mute some people, and my game froze. The "game" wasn't frozen, the screen was blurry and the buttons on my controller wouldn't work in-game (but the guide button). Is this a hack, if it is it needs to be patched! :(

Sounds like a bad game maybe, I had a game with a software issue the same game the day it came out and I returned the game and I got a new one and everything worked fine.

Try downloading black ops 2 to your xbox 360 console and try again.

I heard it's a glitch in the game...but this person was nagging about "Are you frozen?" in game, I thought it was a hack or something ... ?/?

I doubt it was a hack, it could of been a problem with the disc being read and if it keeps persisting with the same or similar problems clean the disc and check for scratches if there are any imperfections you know its your disc.

I remember playing with a friend on Black Ops II, he looked at someone's emblem during a Search & Destroy match and he (and a couple other people) said that they were "frozen" and couldn't move in the game or press any buttons (save the Guide button). The emblem even read "Are You Frozen?". It kinda felt like a hack than a hardware issue, and I felt I needed to tellit on the forums.

You know, I had the exact same problem happen to me on search and destroy.  I just restarted my xbox and haven't seen it since.  Was very strange indeed.
