Xbox live connectivity with Linksys WRT320N Client Bridge

Hi,

I'm running a client bridge with (2) WRT320N routers and dd-wrt firmware (build 14896) on each of them. The Xbox 360 S is wired to the client router. The routers are in different rooms on the same floor in our house, and connecting to the house network and internet is not an issue with neither xbox nor computers.

So, when running the xbox wired to the gateway router, which is wired to a broadband cable modem, xbox live connectivity is good and stable. However, when wired to the client router, the connection is unstable and intermittend.

UPnP is enabled on both routers. Wireless security is WPA2-Personal. ISP is Comcast.

Any ideas what the problem could be? Who has experience specifically with tweaking dd-wrt for xbox live connectivity?
