SanDisk Xbox 360 USB and Music

How do I save music onto the SanDisk USB drive? There's 5GB of free space on mine, but when I plug it into my computer and try to save a song onto it, it says there is no space. 

If the USB drive has been configured for use with the Xbox 360, chances are that it is configured using all of the space available on the drive.  You would have to remove Xbox 360 storage from the drive, then reconfigure the drive so that some space is used by the Xbox 360, and the rest can be used for music, movies, pictures, etc.

 

If you have game saves or content on the USB drive, I would not recommend getting rid of the Xbox 360 storage from the drive, as you would lose your game saves and have to re-download your content.
