Optimize router with Tomato firmware for xbox live

I got a WRT54GL,and I installed Tomato.My xbox still keep disconnecting from live,when ever I am not using internet on my xbox.So I can stream movies and play online games perfectly,but if i play a game by my self,after some minutes,I just disconnect.I havent messed with any settings on my router,so can somebody tell me how to optimize it for xbox.Port fowarding,Qos,etc.

Hey Wook1e, what's the exact error message you're receiving when you run a LIVE connection test? Once you provide that, we should be able to provide troubleshooting steps. :-)

When ever I play a game,or doing something that dont requires the use of the interenet,I just disconnect after a few minutes.It is random,I can go for an hour,I can go for 2 minutes,but If i am streaming a video etc.I never drop connection.When I do drop connection,I just sign back in,no problem,but me disconnecting a lot is really annoying.I called xbox support,and one person told me it could be the ethernet cable,so I went out and got some Cat6 cables,since I heard they are built better than cat5.And I still disconnect after some time.My internet never drops,just my xbox.My NAT is open,I am not having any port fowarding problems.I am wondering is it just xbox live that is causeing the problems?

Do you get the same issue when connected direct to the modem (i.e. bypass the router)
