It wont let me recover my account?

i try to recover this account and it just dosnt work, it says xbox live is unavaible but when i try recovering a different account it works.

I have deleted the account off my hard drive and done everything, can anyone please help me

Are you sure that you are entering the correct password and the Windows Live ID associated with the account?

Is you account suspended? If so you wont be able to recover your tag. Check you WLID that is connected to get GT?

the account is not suspended and i am getting the information right, if i wasnt getting the information right i wouldnt be able to sign in here

When did you first notice the issue? I'm assuming you have no problems signing on to Xbox.com, as you're posting here... how is your Xbox connected to the internet?

ages ago but i just remembered about this account and i really need it back, it only says it on this account. my xbox live is running perfect, i have 2 xbox's and 3 hard drives i have tried all different things to recover the account and it just wont work

How are your Xbox console connected to LIVE, wired or wireless? Maybe because it hasn't been used in a while, the WLID expired. You might want to call up phone support to see if they can sort this out for you. support.xbox.com/.../contact-us.aspx

I stayed in my friends and recovered my gamertag to his xbox and when i got home i tried to recover it back to my own xbox but it says that xbox live sign up is currently unavailable and that my account hasn't recovered fully to try again later. Its getting annoying after the fifth try of recovering it.

Cure: First of all, if you plan on moving your account at all frequently, I recommend using a USB storage device. Recovering the account is more of a troubleshooting step and shouldn't be used regularly. That said, on your Xbox console try to delete your profile (profile only, not content!), clear system cache, restart the console, and then try to recover.

I'm having this same problem, I've tried every possible troubleshooting step that has been posted on support and these forums.  I have tried recovering on a different xbox, I have called support twice and got no help, has anybody figured it out?

Sorry for the slight bump but I am anxious to find out this problem, it's been ongoing for nearly two weeks now.
