Spell checker has vanished from Outook

In the past couple of days the spell checker option has gone... incorrect words are underlined but no option to spell check as before.. What is going on here ?

Hi

My spell checker disappeared as well which is a pain!

I have google to try and fix without success.

Can someone  assist me please as I use Outlook alot.

To check the spelling of a message you are composing in Hotmail:

To correct a misspelled word (marked with a red underline), click it and select the desired alternate spelling.

Note that Hotmail's built-in spell checker does not work in Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome and possibly other browsers that do themselves check the spelling of text you type.

Outlook.com has a Manual Spell check button on the top next to Options.

It does not appear unless you are writing an email.

Note that the Spell Checker does not work in Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome and possibly other browsers that do themselves check the spelling of text you type.

It would be wise to use browsers that fully supports Outlook.com to get the best browsing experience.
