I have really been worried by this "Limited Connection" issue that arises every few minutes. The strange thing is that it won't bother me while watching video or downloading something, but when I surf the web for a few minutes or start reading an article
or do anything that is not constantly pulling bandwidth from the internet, then it shows me "Limited Connection" for a few minutes. I don't use Ethernet, but Wi-Fi on this laptop.
I have tried uninstalling Anti-Virus, removing Wi-Fi security and even switching off the "turn this device to save power" option in the connection settings.
The funny thing is that when I tried the above mentioned things, it worked somewhat okay for a while but as soon as I restart my laptop, the problem is back.
Method 3: Try resetting TCP/IP and check if it works.
Follow the steps
a) Boot to the desktop view.
b) Open command prompt, right click in the left corner when the Start window appear and select command prompt (admin).
c) At the command prompt, copy and paste (or type) the following command and then press ENTER:
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
Note: If you do not want to specify a directory path for the log file, use the following command:
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
d) Reboot the computer.
Hope this helps and do let us know if you need any assistance in the future regarding Windows. We will be glad to help.
