wireless not working in windows 8 i have a samsung laptop

Hi Dennis,

have you installed the latest Windows 8 drivers for your Laptop/wireless drivers?

Go to the Samsung support page and locate your system, OS, and drivers.

Download, Install, reboot.

what shows up in device manager, do you see a wireless card at all?

on the Samsung support site look for wifi drivers for your system

if more than 1 is listed, download ALL of them

trial and error, run the setup for each driver, see if it works, if it fails, uninstall, try the next one

Check your device manager, if you are one of the many unfortunate Samsung users (like myself with a Samsung 7 series with Win 8) stuck with an Intel Centrino N6235 wifi card, you are best off buying a USB wireless device until Intel figures out what exactly is the problem. Ive seen disabling the bluetooth, setting power settings to max performance, or setting the wifi to only use the 5Ghz setting as possible solutions, but none of them work in every instance, this wifi card is just plain broken and Intel is taking their sweet time figuring out whats wrong.
